No no no.......... O__O'
lol...
waw I didn't know there is a filipino version of HSM... LOL... I've never seen the first movie yet but I think (if I catch it and not doing anything at that time) I'll get to see HSM2.
I've only been to the theatre and watch a play once, it was way back when I was still there... I can't even remember what it was about but I know that it was a good show and a nice experience.

ang ganda kaya nung movie!hehe!nadala siguro nung kanta. I like their songs.
about the vid, nadistract lang ako sa ibang panning shots. biglang nagfofocus sa bandang...dibdib.haha! sorry na. but overall, great. and we heard you sing!
the last play/musical of trumpets i attended is, i think, back at high school. Little Mermaid and yung ugly duckling something.
nanood ate ko at pamangkin ko ng HSM on stage. ewan ko lang kung kasabay nyo. freebies from her company (ang sosyal!) kasama sana ako kaya lang dapat daw anak niya ang kasama para libre.haha!sayang!

ARE YOU FRIGGIN KIDDING ME I LOVED HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL TO PIECES! Seriously. I even bought the DVD online, it's region 1, and I paid for twice of how much it runs in MusicOne nowadays. I'm over the whole HSM LSS now, but I still believe that the people who didn't like it are either (1) theater elitists whose highest standards are not met by HSM, or (2) wounded adults who have had uninteresting high school lives. heheh
, athindi ko sha fave pero nice mga songs nila!

wow.. great commentary! This is my first time here.. and i can say, ang galing ng pagka interpret mo sa HSM on Stage! I love HSM kahit na 16 na'ko. Haha. No choice kasi sa sister ko na paulit ulit ang panonood nito last summer.. (halos araw araw). It's great to watch shows that encourage youths and kids to show their extraordinary talents, be it singing, dancing, or even playing the cello. Galing nyo po! Galing pa ng boses. More power to you.
Haha susubaybayan ko po ang mga next nyong posts. Kakaiba ka! Vlogger! ;) Ililink kita para hindi ako malost track.
Good luck sa future!
Hmm... I don't like HSM because of the 2nd reason Jeff stated. It has been ages since I've been into a theater.
I just hope I will be able to watch in a theater again... and hope it's a play for kamasutra!
your best video yet. unbiased, informative, entertaining. and now i'm also battling LSS's
"We're all in this togetheeeer.."
:P

@kiro
You should definitely try watching theatre again Kiro. :) Pero baka mahal dyan. Alam mo ba yung prize? Hehe.
Will catch HSM2 too just because I liked the play. Not expecting much though. :P
@knicks
spammer.
@renz
Well, baliktad yung dating sakin. Dahil sa pangit na execution nung movie sa story, nadala tuloy niya yung songs at di ko gaano na-appreciate. Nevermind, I like them now. HAha!
I was counting on someone to notice the chest panning. Haha. It was not done on purpose though. :P
Teka. Yang Little Mermaid ba sponsored ng Masci? I need to refresh my memory. Haha!
MORE REPLIES LATER! :D Thanks.

ciao!
I wish I knew how to do videoblogging. Definitely new media. Anyway just dropping by to congratulate you for being in the top 10 list.
, atYeah, the movie sucked. TOTALLY. No question there. Theater really gives Hollywood movies a run for their money. Dapat eto na lang pinalabas sa TV eh. Haha.
By Faith, at August 2, 2007 at 8:21 AM
cokski, anu ka va... ganda kaya!kala ko you were referring to the 2nd movie
By Kai Santorino, at August 3, 2007 at 4:37 AM
I felt the same way with regards to the movie. Didn't really care for it.
But, I AM a fan of the Theatre Arts and maybe seeing the On Stage version of the movie would change my mind.
By Jigs, at August 3, 2007 at 9:37 AM
I was totally obsessed about the movie for two days. Then I realized what a bunch of shit that was. But I already downloaded the album.
Hot ba yung Vanessa hudgens-girl sa stage adaptation?
NICE. I'm enjoying all the feedback guys. Thanks alot!
@jeff
I'll say neither 1 nor 2.
1. I hated HSM waaay before I knew there's a stage adaptation. There were enjoyable parts, I admit. But the bad ones was just baaaaad. Hehe. :P
2. I was popular in high school. Because well, I'm "musical". Haha. Don't mind me. Makapal lang ako. :P
@chiq
Ditto. Thanks for dropping by! :D
@pauline
Wow. Thanks for that comment, pauline! You made my day. :) I'm glad you appreciate the art. I'm sure you have tons of talent to show as well. ;)
By CokskiBlue, at August 3, 2007 at 6:21 PM
great video blog, cokskiblue. :)
i didn't pay much attention to the movie version. i love musical motion pictures such as panthom of the opera and moulin rouge, but i wasn't entertained with this one
but hearing you talk about the stage play, well, i'm quite convinced you indeed had a great time.
keep vlogging! :D
By Jervis, at August 3, 2007 at 7:40 PM
@agent grey
Kamasutra? I'll look out for that! Haha!
High school's history man. I'm sure all those wounds have sealed up already. Partly, at least. :D
@paolo
wow. thanks man. congratulations for being (one of) the most influential emerging blogger.
@jehzeel
You too man. Congrats on your 200+ dollars! Lucky you!
By CokskiBlue, at August 4, 2007 at 12:17 AM
HSM has always been my guiltiest pleasure. Haha :)
Too bad I'm not in the Philippines, I could have had the chance to watch it the first chance I got. =)
LSS Galore.
HSM is audibly pathetic, sorry to those who've loved it. But I guess you either love it-love it or hate it-HATE IT!
Hated it.
By Kiks, at August 4, 2007 at 12:51 AM
Hello Coy! Long time no comment ah! Pasensya na ah.
Anyway... About HSM. Well, I'm no fan of it, but I can't say I don't like it either.
I can say that Ashley's cute, though. LOL.
Hindi ko gets kung ano ang High School Musical! Di pa kasi ako nakakanuod niyan. Movie ba yan o series?
Ang TV lang ang alam ko e! Nyahaha!
By Poli, at August 4, 2007 at 8:52 PM
@elizar
Check it out on YouTube or something. I'm sure HSM is all over the net. Or catch HSM 2 na lang sa Disney Channel. Hehe.
@rick
it was great meeting you, rick! let me say that your art has influenced me in some way on how to take photos. your work is awesome. :)
kitakits na lang!
@noemi
Wow. Thanks ma'am! It was nice seeing you in the blogger's eb! Hope I can share the art of vlogging to everyone. It's really an experience. :)
By CokskiBlue, at August 4, 2007 at 11:57 PM
I don't really like High School Musical because of the cliche story and stuff and the music is par so meh. Glad to know someone is also thinking the same ;)
And I also don't like it when Pinoys rip off things like this :/ Why won't we do something like Encantadia again! A well planned movie XD
Sorry for the rambling.
By Archeia_Nessiah, at August 5, 2007 at 2:58 AM
oh yeah! cool videoblogs! haha check out mine, though first videoblog ko lang to. Click my name!

@poyt
Word. Halatang "for TV" lang talaga ang movie. But on stage? It blew me away.
@kai
Hehe. Well, to each his own. :)
@jigs
Yeah, HSM On Stage totally turned my views upside down. And don't get me started with the songs! Man, lumilindol sa bahay pag pinapatugtog ko ang "Status Quo". LOL
@shinji
Uhm. Give her 5 years more and 'hot' just might be an understatement. ;)
By CokskiBlue, at August 5, 2007 at 6:58 AM
@jervis
The stage adaptation was more than enjoyable. Can't find the words to describe it actually. :)
Thanks for dropping by my vlog. :) I'm glad you enjoyed the vid. Theater is quite an experience like vlogging. You should try both. :)
@juice
Hi juice! Great to have you here. I'm sure there are HSM stage plays there too. Although it's different seeing Filipinos playing the role. :)
By CokskiBlue, at August 5, 2007 at 10:08 PM
Juice is right, 'guilty pleasure' ang HSM for me. I do realize how CHEESY the plot is, syempre Disney eh, goody-goody masyado. And yes, the songs are cheesy as well, pero wala eh, maganda talaga yung mga songs, no matter how cheesy they are.
Given known fact ito for fans, pero I'm not sure if you've heard of it, given na hindi ka fan ng movie: Zac Efron used a ghost singer (actually, blended voice) sa HSM1. That's why sa concert series nila sa US, yung totoong singer ang kasama, si Drew Seeley at hindi si Z.Efron. Pero sa HSM2 (malapit na! hahaha, excited..), Zac Efron used his own voice already, na wala nang ka-blend na ibang boses, which is noticeable, if you'd compare his songs sa HSM1 and the new song from HSM2 that has been released already..
Nako, anhaba ng comment, hehe..
By The King, at August 6, 2007 at 1:10 AM
i don't know what's the fuzz about High School Musical. Hehe...
Anyway, just a little tribute for your blog...
http://rowjie.wordpress.com/links/blog-trip-cokskiblue/
my kids watched the show at the meralco theater, some of their friends were in the cast. i would have watched it, too, if i was not busy at that time. from what i heard from my kids--it was fun, talent-filled. the movie version? i also liked it. it's clean fun--we should have more of this types of movies.

My high school days i always watch the show at my school..kids performing like this deserve a good applause.
Also, i tagged you to continue this link sharing chain for blogger and reader. check out http://kabayan-junction.blogspot.com/2007/08/im-tagged-8-things-about-me.html

Waaaah I wanna see that too! Meron pa ba? Hahah got my OST too illegally haha!

High School Musical (original) is the best thing that happened to tv. Zac Efron is so so hot and Vanessa is just gorgeous. The songs are amazing and so is the choreography. It was just phenomenal. Cheesy as it may go but people all over the world love it.
I can watch the movie over and over again. Can't wait for HSM3.
