Hi, Coy! It was great meeting you too. Sa uulitin! :)

i can still remember the first play i've ever watched in the new peta theater. the play was entitled "belong puti". i haven't had the chance to watch batang rizal, kahit na requirement sa amin yun sa aming filipino class.
sobrang fun pag nanonood ako ng plays sa peta. but i bet mas fun pag ikaw yung mismo ang umaarte sa entablado. kahit na umarte ako sa aming theater group sa school, iba pa rin kapag sa peta. sana maexperience ko yun. i envy you! :D

wow! ang ganda ng experience nyo, mukhang enjoy na enjoy! :) i've always loved plays, and i actually love the stage (kinda), although i don't think the feeling is mutual. haha. LOL.
and i also believe that we can be whoever we want to be! it's just a matter of time,resources and determination (and luck, most probably), that unfortunately, not all of us have. :P so some dreams are left as that -- dreams.

Discovered ka na sa YouTube pare. No need to fly out here. Hehe. Thanks, Pao. :)
@karla

Haha! FUN! Filipinong filipino ah. Panalo ang script mo ngayon, Coy. :) Shet, baka madiscover tayo. Joke.

@jed
Yeah, it was definitely a different experience, man. You should try out their workshops and programs if you're interested. :)
@cars
According to the gold mine theory, the stage can love you back cars. hehe.

They performed Batang Rizal especially for you guys? Applause! Theater would spit me out, unless they get to paint a mural of the entire backdrop for the plays. Oh, I could do special effects, too, and animal sounds (especially the sound cats do when they're in heat).
By Fritz, at September 2, 2007 6:47 AM
*unless they get ME to paint...
sorry, my bad.
By Fritz, at September 2, 2007 6:49 AM
@poytee
Wehehe. I dunno but that came out of me naturally. I'm really makata, you know. :P
@fritz
No, they didn't man. That part of the vlog is, uhm, misleading. Hehe. Those shots of us watching were actually us waiting for our Final Performance. LOL.
You do murals? That's really cool. Two things I WISH I could do are paint/draw and cook. Oh well. :P
In heat? I'm familiar with cat sounds when they're freezing. And oh, I also caught one staring at me the other night IN MY ROOM. That murrrr was FREAKKAY.
Maybe someday we can use green screens as backdrops. Hehe.

I did one. A long long time ago in a land far far away. I won second place because that was a contest and did the school proud yo!
Also, I remember doing a church facade backdrop for one school play back in college. The final output was HUGE! Did it for two days I think. Sayang because they took it down soon after.
Auguste Gusteau in Ratatouille said "Anyone Can Cook!" Come on, man. You are an artist! Your inclination for the arts is astounding! Look at cooking as merely changing the medium you normally play around with. Start with simple stuff like potatoes LOL.
By Fritz, at September 2, 2007 8:17 AM
You did a huge backdrop all by yourself? Ang tyaga mo pare. May artwork ka na bang naka-upload sa Fritzified? Lemme see! Hehe.
Potatoes? Hmmmm.... Oh! French Fries! Hehe.
By CokskiBlue, at September 2, 2007 11:14 PM
Nakakahiya! LOL. I salvaged two. One is partly destroyed and the other unfinished. I call them my kitsches. I've no time for painting these days which is just sad. Here's the link (do not click, LOL). Done on shirts, fully hand-painted using textile paint on self-made metallic pseudo-canvas base. Yabang na ito! Hehe.
